Notice of Fraudulent Job Offers
We have become aware that unauthorized individuals may have posed as Tokio Marine North America Services (“TMNAS”) employees by using our employees’ names, voices, and images, making contact about job opportunities, and extending job offers on behalf of TMNAS. These job postings and offers are not authorized by TMNAS, and TMNAS is not responsible for such fraudulent offers. However, we take these actions seriously and would recommend that all applicants be aware of certain signs that a job offer from TMNAS may be fraudulent.
To start, all vacancies at TMNAS are posted on the Company’s career site. Offers for jobs that are not on the site are not legitimate. All communications related to employment with TMNAS will be sent from an email address with a tmnas.com email domain or through an authorized third party. TMNAS will never communicate with applicants using a Hotmail, Outlook, Gmail, Yahoo, or even a tmnascareers.com email domain. TMNAS does not make offers of employment before completing a thorough hiring process, which would include in-person and/or virtual interviews with multiple people. Interviews will not be conducted through email. Fraudulent job offers often ask for financial or personal information. TMNAS will never ask applicants to provide credit card or bank account information, transfer or deposit money, or make any type of personal financial investment to gain employment with TMNAS. Personal information, such as social security numbers or dates of birth, should not be provided prior to meeting with a TMNAS representative, in person or virtually, and being certain of the legitimacy of the opportunity.
If you suspect that any communication related to your application may be fraudulent, please immediately contact TMNAS at [email protected]. Applicants are also encouraged to report any such fraudulent activity to proper law enforcement authorities.
