Duties

Job Summary:

Responsible for performing day to day Tax Compliance activities for TMNAS and the business units it supports.

Preparation of all state monthly/quarterly estimated premium tax filings in states that the Companies are licensed. Preparation of all state monthly/quarterly sales and use tax filings in states that the Companies are licensed. Preparation of all quarterly/annual municipality tax filings in states (AL, IL, KY) that the Companies are licensed. Preparation of all annual personal property filings in states that the Companies are licensed. Processing of all check/wire requests and gathering of return supporting documentation for all state/local/premium tax returns filed. Assist in the preparation of the annual Form 1099 filings for all applicable Companies, including identification of vendors and the gathering of reportable data. Assist in the preparation of other state/local tax filings, including the preparation of annual returns, tax extensions and quarterly estimates. Assist with gathering information for federal/state audit information document requests. Assist in communicating with the taxing authorities regarding various tax issues/requests.

Qualifications

Proficiency in Microsoft Desktop applications and excel. Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred, but not required.
