Job Summary:
As a Penetration Tester on the Vulnerability Management and Testing team, a part of the Global Fusion Center (GFC), you will be responsible for employing various security tactics, techniques, and procedures to discover and exploit vulnerabilities in networks, applications, and the cloud. You will provide clear and actionable reports to stakeholders and will provide technical recommendations to help resolve discovered issues. Your role will be key in the GFC’s delivery and improvement of the penetration testing service to the portfolio of Tokio Marine Group companies.
Essential Job Functions:
- Conduct penetration testing on web applications, APIs, networks, mobile applications, and cloud environments
- Coordinate and execute testing based on stakeholder needs and concerns
- Use automated and manual tools and techniques to discover and exploit vulnerabilities
- Document and report findings, including the severity, impact, and recommendations
- Communicate results and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Stay updated on the latest exploits, security trends, threats, and best practices
- Provide technical guidance for the remediation of discovered vulnerabilities
- Foster working relations and partnerships with other teams and employees
Other Functions:
- Comply with proper internal controls as necessary to conduct job functions and/or carry out responsibilities and/or administrative activities at the Company
- Perform special projects and other duties as may be assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, cybersecurity, or a related field preferred
- 3-5 years of penetration testing experience preferred
- Experience in network and web application penetration testing preferred
- A certification in penetration testing, such as OSCP, GPEN, CREST, etc. is preferred
- Proficient in various operating systems, such as Windows, Linux, and MacOS
- Working knowledge of programming languages such as Python, C#, or Ruby
- Hands-on experience with penetration testing operating systems, tools, and frameworks such as Nmap, Burp Suite, Kali Linux, etc
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, writing, and communication skills
Salary range $140,000 to $160,000. Ultimate salary offered will be based on factors such as applicant experience and geographic location. Our company offers a competitive benefits package and bonus eligibility on top of base
