Provide administrative support to the in-house legal team for Tokio Marine North America, Inc. Works in a shared services environment to deliver high quality legal services to Tokio Marine’s US subsidiaries.
Responsible for logging, maintaining and tracking lawsuits, subpoenas, and other legal documents served on the Company. Review of lawsuits for bad faith / ECD claims. Provide assistance with management of the Company’s corporate insurance policies; support the application process and monitor and track claim activity. Responsible for logging, maintaining and tracking of consumer complaints and coordinating the response process with the applicable business unit. Monitor and track internal company license filing requirements. Assist with the preparation of board materials, corporate resolutions, and unanimous consent documents. Perform legal research related to insurance regulatory issues, policy renewal / nonrenewal requirements, 50 state surveys. Manage outside counsel billing and vendor invoicing. Provide administrative support to the legal team. Perform special projects and other duties as may be assigned.
Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred.
1-2 years working experience, preferably in the insurance industry.
